The past few weeks have been nothing short of exciting, transformative and full of new beginnings for me. Recently has seen the uprooting and shifting of both my living and working environment which has now unfolded and blossomed into this beautiful space that I call home. I have been busy facilitating and co-facilitating workshops and events between Byron and Brisbane and currently in the process of organising a road trip to Sydney to bring my healing sessions, events and open heart to the ‘Big Smoke’.
This however can very easily lead to feeling overwhelmed with planning and flabbergasted with things to do. We are human, we get busy and stressed but the question is how do we deal with that stress?
‘Take a deep breath in, and breathe out’ has been my go to mantra to keep me connected, grounded and as far away from the stressful and anxious tendencies that are working so hard to arise. I try to surround myself in the things I like doing outside of work. The things that help me escape. The things that make me happy and feed my spirit. Like walks on the beach, spending time in nature; getting a massage or spending time with loved ones. By allowing this space for me, I come back to feeling calm and nurtured and I actually become more proficient in what I produce…. able to continue with the work I offer.
What is it that you do to feed your spirit? How do you keep yourself calm, centred and grounded when things get tough or stressful? No matter how busy life becomes, or how caught up we are we can and should always allow this sacred time for ourselves.
And who knows, maybe you will be able to do this at one of my upcoming events.
