Nitya Karma also helps us in overcoming our self-centredness. Recognising that we receive help from all other sources-all other beings, and the divine; helps us in becoming humble. Slowly the concern for one's own life diminishes and we begin to have a larger view of life. We are all interconnected and we can practice this by seeing the light in the others, rather than focusing on their shadow. There is a statement in Sanskrit ‘vāsudaiva kutumbhakam’, which means that the whole universe is one family. I love this, it just rings so true and the perfect reminder for me today.
We will look at this within our yoga practice tomorrow night. Remembering that yoga is more than what we practice on the mat, this is only the beginning! 5.30-7pm @ Yoga Peace Mullumbimby
